Today the newspaper guy came to my room and told me they were having a Valentine celebration . I thanked him for the invitation but made the excuse that I didn't feel up to it.
Truth is it means nothing to me f is year. I don't even have any hate left. I only got pain, emptiness, and regret. I have no Valentine. Mine disappeared long ago.
For almost a decade I've talked about my hatred of V Day and how it is a made up holiday made by candy companies to get rid of overstock from the actual holidays and how now it is the haves slamming the have nots and making them feel bad. All true. But this year I must give my energy to healing. I'm not even going to grab a bunch of half off candy after and gorge myself and puke. Nope no energy. So haves hand have nots revel in the abuse... I'm out this year.
