I'm royally pissed right now. The thing is I keep having people contacting me begging for me to help them either with book projects or screenplays. Out of the goodness of my heart and in honor to my mentors who have meant the world to me I've paid forward and taken time away from my own projects to help them only to have nearly two thirds of them act like immature unprofessional jackasses an slap me in the face over complete bullshit.
The most recent that spurred me to make this post happened because the person decided after having me help them for three months that I was a bigot because they read some of my posts because I don't believe in woke ideals or all the pronoun bullshit. I don't believe in villainising people or forcing pronouns down their throats. I believe in equality, which means everyone is equal and no one is better or worse than any other. But this person took offense and threw months of work in the garbage over bullshit that has nothing to do with the work. This being childish and unprofessional.
This point is this kind of shit keeps happening. It is the reason why the last three attempts to adapt Jason's Curse failed. Yep, all over petty politics and woke bullshit.
I'm sick and tired of this crap so I'm going to make myself clear here. If you come to me for help you will be expected to act like a PROFESSIONAL. This means that you LEAVE politics and social justice at the door. If you can't do that then fuck off and don't ask. PERIOD! The time of William Pattinson being slapped in the face or being fucked over for being kind is over. Is that clear? Good.
