I'm kind of pissed about how Dune Part 2 handled their promotional movie merch. It is total bullshit that AMC has exclusive rights for drink cups and popcorn buckets. What the fuck people.
Here in San Mateo county pretty much all we have here is Century theatres, well except for one Cineopolis Theatre. So we get screwed over here. It's bad enough that Cinemark has cut out the coffee bar and Starcade at their theatres. It is all becoming unappealing and industrial.
If these asshole theatres want to put asses in seats they need to make it appealing.
I'm still going to see Dune Part 2 on Thursday, but it is going to be an inferior experience...
