Any fans of the anthology series Tales From the Void? I just discovered this series on Tubi. I really like the fact that the host talks to the Creepy Pasta authors whose stories are being adapted. But also I'm a bit saddened because I know if I had taken the Creepy Pasta route for my stories after The Camp Crystal Lake novels I would be purposely ignored for consideration for this anthology. My friend Boo Rhodes and some of my author friends would be considered.
The reason for this is because after I wrote my series the horror media, conventions, and websites treated me as an unwelcome outsider for no good reason. I never acted egotistical and only wanted to be treated like my fellow authors yet all these horror organizations tried to pull the narrative that I was trying to act like I was Stephen King or one of the 1 percent.
