I saw M3GAN last night and loved it. I had no issue at all about it being PG or that some of the gore was done off screen. I didn't really miss it and it was done artistically. Blood and gore doesn't have to be in your face. Most of my favorite horror films handle gore in a balanced way and doesn't allow it to distract from the story. M3GAN is like this and that is one of the many things I appreciate about it.
